Biomimicry
(using design and processes to imitate nature).
Aquallusion is a patented
GREEN
design technology that imitates bubbling, flowing water without the
use of any water.
A Dec
2007 article in Event Design magazine describes Biomimicry. John Krause, principal
architect of Manhattan firm DNA, says that all
designers need to embrace the concept of Biomimicry.
Aquallusion is one of the first successful
commercial uses of Biomimicry design. Development of the
process was conceived in the late 1980's and has grown
into a company that offers
commercial custom design, a
stable of
event rental products, and new retail products for today's college generation,
the "Aquallusion
iTube Light".
The Aquallusion systems
utilize air flow, low voltage LED lighting, and
